You can also get free information on what videos are hot in the market and what that are not. You can also track other people's video.

Two things you must have before you sign up with TubeMogul:

1. A valid e-mail address, and
2. Accounts with video sharing sites that are partners of TubeMogul.

You must have accounts with the various syndicate video partners of TubeMogul mentioned above. With these credentials, TubeMogul can then provide the free video submission service for you.

Before TubeMogul can distribute your videos to these sites, you must enter your credentials for the site, and the videos go to your channel just as if you uploaded directly yourself, and NOT to your TubeMogul account. If you do not have accounts with the sites you want, do it now! They are all free to join!

You don't have to sign up for all. Choose the sites that you really like. You can find useful information of the various sites in the thumbnail pictures above. I find this great service provided by TubeMogul very helpful in choosing the appropriate sites for my videos.

As a free user, there is a limitation to how many videos Tubemogul will deploy for you each month. You are allowed 100 deployments per month and one video distributed to five sites counts as five (5) video deployments. If you want more than you can upgrade and pay to enhance the service. You can always check the Account settings to see the progress of your allotted deployments for the month.

Because various video-sharing sites have their own limitations, it is highly recommended that your videos be under 500MB. TubeMogul accepts video files in the following formats:

avi,wmv, mov, mpg, mp4, flv, and m4v

In general, the mp4 file format (h.264) 640x480 pixel dimensions is probably the best format and is very popular with many of the sites.

TubeMogul has a very simple and easy to use interface. It consists of 5 areas known as:

Dashboard, MarketPlace, Research, Learn More, and Help.

Uploading your video is easy and fun with TubeMogul. It consists of 6 simple steps as follows:

1. At your Dashboard, click "Upload A Video" 
2. Browse for your video file, open it and click "Upload"
3. You can see the uploading process in the green window
4. While the file is being uploaded, fill in the details of your video: Title, Description, Tags, Category. Click the "Upload" button once your file is completely uploaded.
5. In the next page, click the "Launch" button (rocket icon). It opens up for you to submit your video to more video-sharing sites.
6. The "Promote" button provides you with tools to broadcast your video to the millions of Internet users out there: embed codes for your blogs or websites; viralize your video with bookmarking social sites: add a TubeMogul badge to show off how many viewers have seen your video; and links of your videos to add to your blogs and websites.
