Google Video Wants To Include Every Video On The Web!

Most Comprehensive Video Index On The Web

Google Video may not be the most popular video sharing site on the Internet compared to its little sister, YouTube. But Google Video is unique and hugh. It has the largest online video collection and contains millions of videos indexed and available for viewing and sharing.

With Google Video, you can search for, watch and share millions of videos, TV shows, news, movie clips, music videos, documentaries, personal productions, home-made videos and much much more from all over the Web.

Its goal is to include every video on the Web!

Besides its own collection that Internet users have added through Google Video services, it has all of YouTube videos - more than 700 million of them and growing! And that is only the icing on the cake. You can find videos from third parties such as 5min.com, dailymotion.com, cracle.com, metacafe.com, revver.com, crazymotion.com, flixya.com, gofish.com, photobucket.com, uncutvideo.aol.com, veoh.com etc.

Google's spiders or robots regularly crawl the Web indexing billions of webpages and scanning for videos. New videos, changes to existing videos, and videos that no longer exist are automatically updated and indexed. Google Video wants to include every video on the Web!

If you have your own videos, upload them to Google Video and get them indexed. The chances for your videos to be searched and found by others are greatly enhanced!

If you are looking for a particular video or any "moving images", the chances are Google Video has got it indexed and ready for you to watch and share with your family and friends.

Add Google Videos To Optimize Your Hubs

Adding Google videos to your Hubs follows almost the same procedures as for putting YouTube videos to your Hubs. Basically, it involves the following steps:

  1. Log-in to www.video.google.com.
  2. At Google's home-page, you use tag(s) or keyword(s) to search for the video that best fit your description.
  3. From the search results displayed, you select the video that you want to add to your Hub.
  4. Click to open the video file.

You have two options to add that particular video to your Hub:

Option #1

  1. Right click to highlight the browser window that displays the website's URL.
  2. Copy the URL or Web address of the video's website
  3. Paste the URL in the given box at your Hub's video capsule.
  4. Preview video to ensure the link is okay.
  5. Add a subtitle to your selected video.
  6. Press the Save button to complete the process.

Option #2

  1. Click on the Embed Code button located on the right side of the selected video.
  2. Right click to highlight the HTML code of the Web address
  3. Copy the entire Embed code.
  4. Paste it in the given box at your Hub's video capsule.
  5. Preview video to ensure the link is okay.
  6. Add a subtitle to your selected video.
  7. Press the Save button to complete the process.

When you have added all the videos you want onto your Hub, the other great tool that you want to put to good use is the Capsule Ordering. They consist of directional buttons that quickly move around all the capsules you have in your Hub.Or drag and drop to move the various capsules above each other and remember to click the Reorder Now button to save these new changes.
